First time breeding
So I have a norm f to a pastel m
And I just put them together yesterday, so far the interaction is slim to none. And she is a big sissy to begin with :-) he's not really doing anything that looks like he's interested and neither does she. She's kinda just hiding from him and
What exactly should I be looking for?

Just keep pairing, I have a spider male that I never saw locked with any female, but he obviously was getting the job done :), produced 4 spiders in 1 clutch.

Really? Like I said this is my first time and lol they them selves are virgins :-D
So I know the process is new to them but I'm sure nature will take it's course

Well another reason could be the temperatures... It's really not the season to be breeding. Most breedings start in october and go through early year. I know here in so cal it's way too hot to try introducing the males to females. Your best bet would be to just wait til the colder months, keep feeding them and getting them nice and big and trying again later in the year.
I do know of some breeders who breed all year long but that's because they have precisely controlled environments that give optimal conditions for this.

A tail lock is usually what you look for :)

lol, some boys are slow starters, some seem shy you never see a lock but 2-3 months later you get eggs.
Have either of them bred before?
