I finally got bit!

I know it's kinda dumb, but to me, it's a little like a rite of passage!

Anyway, our Mojo male is being snippety tonight. He'll bite at anyone right now. Don't know why either. Just a little nip, though. It was funny! :banana:

I have yet to get bit. :( Bummer.

I was just checking on him. I could totally see it coming.

His head was cocked and loaded. He followed my hand. I tried grabbing way behind, but he reeled around and nipped me. Even though I saw it coming, it still startled me. It was cool! :taz:

Yeah mine was very similar. I was showing my friend a feeding, and I reached in to grab his water dish and bam he got me lol

It doesn't hurt at all its funny, and its just the shock of him biting for some reason. Its exhilarating haha!!

Just wait till they bite onto your thumb because they thought it was the rat, and hold on for dear life :D

I got bit last week. My big girl peaches was tangled up, and I thought I was doing her a favor extracting her... she didn't agree. lol It didn't exactly feel good, I think I would have preferred to join the ranks of owners that had never been bit.
Heh guess it is a right of passage though. =)

i've yet to be bit cuz i dont have my bp yet (she's still at the breeders, on hold for me though) but he's sayin' she's strikin' like crazy, never bit him yet just strikin'.
i'm thinkin' "hmm leave it to me to pick the aggressive one huh?" and "oh lord, what've i got myself into?" and "i'm gonna have my hands full trying to tame her".
lol but hey, thats my girl.

My first bite was almost a decade ago now. :D My first Ball Python, a normal-phase I had in college, was totally in shed and couldn't see anything, had been injured and the vet said liquid food only until the damage healed, so he was blind AND hungry, and I'd been handling mice. I put my had right in front of him and whap, he struck...then instantly let go ("hey, this isn't a mouse! YOU LIED TO MEEEE!!!") and when people ask me "do you ever get bit?" I say "yeah once but it was pilot error." XD

Now, my Cinnamon is a snitty little spitfire. :rofl: I never let anyone but me handle him because he wants to bite someone SO BAD and may as well be me. I'm careful though, so no more bites...yet.
