Two sweet deals in one week!
Got two really cool deals in the last few days. I was browsing craigslist and came across a guy looking to sell his vision cage (222) for $75. I give the guy a call and go check it out. Its in perfect condition and hardly ever used...the guy just wants it gone...after talking a bit, he tells me that his wife is an active duty Marine and when I told him that I am also, he knocked off another $25!!:banana:
Next up...a friend of mine has a nephew who has a BP the he needs to "get rid of". Turns out this kid's dad bought him a snake without consulting the mom (they are divorced)...the mom wants it gone so he calls me. I go to check it out and what do you know...not only is it a BP but its a pastel:O!!! Im picking it up tomorrow:banana::banana:. I am getting it for free but I feel like I should pay this kid something! I'll post some pics later on.

Nice, nice that they gave you a military discount. Ex-Navy here. As for giving the kid something for the Pastel, go with your gut.

Yep. Im pretty certain that it is. Ive been looking at them for a little while on the net and at a pet store in Ca. I'll post the pics once I get it. If its not, its a pretty good looking normal:D.

Okay...so I got the snake home today and snapped a couple pics before I put it away to get settled in for the next few days...like I said,Im pretty sure its a pastel from everything that I have been studying here. Let me know what you all think.:D Even if its not, I think that its pretty cool looking just the same. Thanks!
by the way...I gave the kid some cash for the snake. Not as much as he would have gotten in the pet trade but he was happy just the same.;)

Yep, that sure is a Pastel. Almost looks like it has reduced patterns. What did you give the kid for it?

congratulations on the new snake! I've been trying like crazy for the past several months to get my hands on a snake but everything seems to fall through. Gonna have to wait for the next reptile show that rolls around I guess :)
Have fun with your new buddy and I'd be interested to know what sex it is. :D
