    Possible New Snake
I was looking around on Craigslist just to see what would pop up and I stumbled upon this:

    http://www.reptilempire.com/photos/u...7-4c3984f5.jpg

3 Nicaraguan / Pastel Boas $200 for all three, otherwise $75 for one. I'm thinking about getting the male. Is this a good deal? They're really nice looking snakes, and I trust the guy because I actually bought my one Beardie from him. I wasn't particularly looking to get another snake right now, but this seems like this might be a little too good to pass up.

Opinions? Should I get one or not?
(I have the space and everything I need for one)

Kingsnake has them listed for nearly to more than twice that cost (pastel boas) and a pet store would probably sell it as a fancy one for 3 times the amount. While a pet show may be cheaper, you may have to haggle. And you know the guy.

So that gives you why buying the snake isnt a waste of money.

Now, can you house a boa, keep it until it's old, and feed/care for it? If so and you want THAT PARTICULAR BOA then go for it.

Personally I want a Ghost and since I'm into BPs, not Boas, anything else would be a waste for me, but if you're into boas then there would be another thing to say go for it.

I actually have a Colombian already, and I love Boas just as much as balls. I was looking more into spending a little more and getting a nice Butter or Lesser from Constrictors Unlimited, but then I found this post, and I don't think I can pass it up.

    Resist the urge.

We all want more and more snakes, but, come on, if you're saving up for a snake, dont change your mind and go for something else. Keep saving, pass it up, get what you want not what's an awesome offer.

    Hahaha but but but.. xD

Well I want more Boas too, and this is a really good deal. So I guess knowing what a nice deal this is, its not a matter of which one I want now but which one I can get now. Plus I'm probably going to be waiting around until October for the next reptile show to come around and see if I can find something there, or at least trying to wait around until then haha.

Nicuagrian boas max out at 6 ft.

They are also known as dwarf boas.
