    Pastave
How come you rarely see pastaves for sale?

Posted this in the wrong section :)

The market is heavily driven by demand, so people breed what seems to be selling good at the time. You'll see them for sale, as they are a nice combo to work with, just gotta keep an eye out.

For a begining breeder would you start with a
Mojavs and pastels or spider and pastels.

As beginning breeder I would have choosen Spider and Pastels, but now I would say Mojave and Pastel.

I haven't bred yet, but I have a male bumble bee and a female mojave, so I have a chance at the best of both sides.:)

I've produced 14 pastaves in the last two seasons, sold all the males (5) but the first one, and held back all the females (9). Mojave-cross females are worth their weight in gold in any collection.

I haven't bred yet either, but I'd go with Mojave x Pastel. Like Mykee said, a female Pastave is worth her weight in gold. The males aren't bad either though!

Everyone like the bumblebee morph, so alot of them are produced.

I LOVE pastaves! I have a pastel male and mojave female that I plan to cross, possibly next season, and plan to produce many in the future!

I agree totally. Think of all the great combos made with mojaves lately: purple potions and crystals to name two.

I have 2 pastel females and a super pastel female. I have one male pastel. Let me make sure I understand. I should buy a mojave female and breed it with my pastel male? what would you breed a pastave with? I was thinking buy a spider female and breed it with my pastel male and hope for bumblebees.
