Are full grown BPs strong enough to strangle a skinny 5ft person

Are full grown BPs strong enough to strangle a skinnly 5ft person, at a 'DANGEROUS / REALLY HARMFUL' or even 'FATAL' extent?

My 5ft skinny girlfriend is specifically asking that question and wanna see responses from you people here specifically. (she doesnt trust me, lol)

Coz she is thinking if she should move out or still stay in with me when my BP reaches its full size. :rofl:

Can it attempt to choke her? Yes, but i've never seen or even heard from a reliable sorce of that happening. If it attempts to, it should be less than a problem for her to unwrap the ball from her neck.

I'm a 4'11" skinny person and have never been eaten by one of my snakes.

You are talking at most about a 6lb snake vs at least an 85lb person? I seriously doubt a 6lb snake could take down an 85lb person.

Its fairly easy to unwrap them, but if she's uncomfortable then I would avoid letting her put the snake on her neck without being there to help. It's like a massage more than anything :)

if a ball python ever were to squeeze you to the point you feel you are loosing control all you would have to do is grab it from the tail and start to peal back. the snake will be forced to let go. crisis solved.

Balls stay reletively small compared to Boa's, Retics and Rock Pythons. I have never heard of a ball python strangling a person. Any media attacks have had Boa's and the larger species of pythons involved. I would also like to add that most attacks were due to poor parenting or reckless snake keepers. I have no fear letting either of my sons handle my snakes. My oldest son was on 4 when he got his first ball python.
