Greetings from Pennsylvania!

Hello everyone! :) I am the proud owner of a hatchling Ball Python (~16") that I got a great deal on from PetSmart, of all places. Fortunately he's a great little tyke, he's very active and he doesn't even seem to be stressed in his new home. The woman who sold him to me told me that he hadn't eaten in a week and that they were force feeding him f/t because he wouldn't eat. However, I bought him two live fuzzies yesterday and he ate them up right away!

This is my first reptile but I've always had a passion for snakes and have always wanted a BP.

I have Ikky (Short for Ikiriyo - means Courage in samurai) in a 65gal Tall tank that I had before getting the snake. He seems to like his enclosure, and the largeness of the tank is mostly offset by it being a tall rather than a wide. He's got two hides - one with a "low heat/warm" UTH beneath it and one in the cool area of the tank.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here and honestly I've been browsing the site for hours just reading up on all the valuable information here!
