So I have stepped up and working on a DYI rack
I just purchased a herpstat ND from Spyder Robotics.
I then went to Reptile Basics and purchased 4- 3foot length (4inch Flex)
Also bought some hides and water bowls.
I then purchased a rack from home depot

Im going to cut the length of the legs. To shorten it up. Then I would like to cover up the two sides.
The question I have is.
What tubs should I buy to put the snakes in?? quarts/brand??
Im sure brands would be like comparing apples to apples but figured I would just ask..
I have 2 balls 400 and 500 grams. Male pastel and Female super pastel
Thanks again for your help.

Re: So I have stepped up and working on a DYI rack
wow i made a rack out of this exact shelving unit. it works great. i have pics of it in my other phone. what i did was cut the legs of all the shelves to fit the tubs (any would work just pick a reasonable size). as you can see i included a display tank into my design. it currently houses 3 bps and i use the bottom shelf for storage. i used sheets of whiteboard (the kind you use dry erase markers to write on) to cover the bottom of each shelf to create a slat surface for the top of the tubs. the board was $11 for a huge wall sized piece and they cut it for free. its laminated and easy to clean. it turned out great. please show some pics when your done and hit me up if you have questions

You have lids on them tubs? The wholes seem big enough for them to squeeze through

28 quart tubs for that size bp! Rubbermaid or Sterlite are good tubs! Get the ones that are only 6 inches high!

as i explained(i guess not clearly enough) the tubs are tight against the "whitebord" material that covers the bottom of each shelf. if the snakes look up they dont see the holes in the shelf but instead a nice clean whiteboard. No lids needed :D works great
