Looks like they arrested the guy finally...

I have not had the energy to search it out yet, but my mother in law phoned to let us know they found the guy that burned down our place.

He is a homeless guy from out of province. No reason given for why, as it was completely random for him to do this.

He also admitted to burning down a bank of condos that were uninhabited, a friend of ours lived there as well.

Guess he decided for round two that he would put murder a bit lower on his list.

I am sort of apathetic, sort of raging inside, sort of paralyzed. I will pick one and stick with it over the next few days.

I want to decide whether I hope he gets help or not, but not quite there yet.

Wow that is insane that some one would just burn buildings down for no reason at all. I hope he gets what he deserves, but like always with homeless people if they go to jail, its just free food, clothes, and warmth to them.

I'm sorry to hear it, but glad you seem to have come through and theyve finally caught who committed the crime.
Small consolation I know.

I am glad you and Jerome can finally get some closure at least. You now know who and what uprooted your lives, but I know that doesn't erase the fact that it happened.

I hope the guy gets locked up for a good long while personally.

I'm glad they found him. It's a shame you guys had to lose everything you did cuz he felt like lighting some buildings on fire.

Just trying to process it. I work hard at not thinking about it, and this has made it front and center for us.

Mostly just really sad, I need a day or two to get really angry, I just never see the point to it I guess. It took enough from us already to give that up too.

I am glad they finally know who did it, and can prevent him from doing it again. I know right now you must be feeling kind of a whirlwind of emotions.

After having done your best to get past this, now the pain starts all over again.

I hope that things settle back down for you, remember we are all here for you.

I would be feeling the same way but just remind yourself that he didnt succeed in murdering your snakes. Yours was a miraculas story so contain yourself if they actually show him on the news. Dont go running off full of hatred with thoughts of revenge. I have a much better idea and a much happier thought...

Bruce, this guy surely must be mentally ill. The fact that he is homeless only serves to confirm this. Anger would be wasted on him. You are already successfully past this incident. He will now go to prison or an institution I'm sure. it's best just to be glad that you are in your shoes instead of his.
