Banded Morhps ???

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to know if some of you have any knowledge of the so-called "Banded" Ball Python. I have included some pictures of mine and just would like to know things like is it co-dom, recessive, Dominant? And any other cool facts, Thanks !:taz:

I wasn't aware there was a genetic banded morph, thought it was one of the many patterns normals come in.

Its genetic in the way that it can be passed to babies just like any pattern can, but not all the babies would look like that so it is not genetic in the sense that it can be replicated consistantly with every breeding and every baby (if 2 "banded" were bred together)

I think the only truly banded morphs are the womaballs and tiger (desert x enchi) IMO

I think there is a morph called genetic banded.

What I don't know is what the markers are to distinguish it from a normal with a banded pattern - I think it was co-dom.

I'll try and find some info on it later if my broadband stops misbehaving.

Yes That's it !!!
I could not remember what the breeder called it, I found it was a unique morph and simply bought it. She specializes in Tigers and this is what she told me this morph was!
So the tiger is a desert X enchi. I thought it was just some unique normal lol!

No I don't think it's a combination of any other morphs - just that the genetic ones are a base morph themselves.

But you have to remember what's called a tiger in Europe is different to what is called a tiger in America. It's one of those silly times when two different things share the same name.

Confused the heck out of me at first (and still does on occasions ).

Basically yes.

But some are genetic and some aren't so it's important to trust the breeder etc.

Both of my Albinos are banded. It took forever to find a female that was banded. I don't know if it's genetic. I do like my banded albinos, they look really clean and seem to have a more solid yellow coloring.
