    Thawing frozen
Curious to see how many different ways everyone using frozen thaws their food. I know, I know, take them out of the freezer, DUH!
Do you take them out and leave them, do you put them on a heat pad, put them in a plastic bag in hot water.
Any novel ideas? Especially when you're feeding >20 animals?

from the freezer to a bucket of hot water( hottest running tap). in bags weighted down. it takes a little longer to thaw in bags but I don't have to dry them.

I thaw on a piece of flexwatt in my rack. Takes about 3 hours.

I use two tubs filled with hot water. What allows me to speed up my thawing time is a tea kettle! I pour boiling water (sounds crazy) into the tubs with already thawing rats. I don't pour much, just enough to give the water an extra kick of heat 1/2 way through thawing. I'm thawing 40+ rats and mice at a time and dumping cold water every 20 minutes can get annoying! I've had no problem with rats splitting or busting but I’ve only been doing it this way for six or so months.

I put them in a plastic bag, fill the bathroom sink with hot water and submerge for an hour or two. Then I heat the heads a little bit with a blow dryer.
