    Are all fire lines compatablility?
Wondering if all fire lines are compatible and will make BEL's when crossed?

I heard mention that some lines might not be compatible, and since I want to breed my fire male at some point I wanted to make sure this was or wasn't the case.

I have never heard of a line that is not compatible; although, I have never worked with fires.

There are people that claim they have a Fire, but may not....it just looks like one. If you buy one, make sure you ask if it's from a proven line.

I'm not worried about it not being a fire, just not sure about compatibility.
I should say when I picked it up I was fairly certain that I'd not heard of incompatible lines, but after hearing it thought I'd ask.

I'm not even sure if many of the different lines have been crossed. The only one I know about is the Davis line and the NERD line and I believe they did prove to be compatible.

    P.S. Feed that thing.

I wondered that too. That's why I got both of my fires from the same breeder VPI. I have seen allot of people selling fires that look like normals to me so I figured with that morph you need to stick to reputable breeders.

    lol
It came to me as a 2 week old unfed 55 gram hatchling
I attempted to feed it after a week chilling in it's tub, and for 2 more weeks attempted with no luck.
It then was force fed a pinky, and has since ate twice on it's own and is 79 grams and going into shed :)

Why would a reputiable breeder sell a none feeding hatchling out of the egg thats crazy,I hope you didnt pay top dollar for that it takes some work to get a stressed hatchling to eat .I would never sell a hatchlings that has not fed at least a few times

    He's eating fine.
I have started my own hatchlings before and felt confident in my ability to start him
or I wouldn't have done the trade.
It wasn't from a "reputable" breeder but a smaller local person who will back up the animals genetics
in a heart beat, so I did the trade.

He is doing fine and has a good feeding response now after eating twice on his own.

You presume the snake was stressed out?
Actually I believe it was held too much before getting it feeding.
When I got it he mentioned it liked to be held.
I handle my hatchlings as little as possible till they eat a few times, maybe it's just me, but it seems to help them start better.
