    Banded
Just want some info on the banded gene.
I have a female that is reduced pattern and as far as I know this is the same as banded. 2 of her babies came out like her. The other 3 were more ltke thier dad who has a busy jungle pattern but thier patterns were alot less busy.
Is the banded gene when proved genetic a dominent, co dom or ressesive gene.
with my female producing banded babies can I say she is proven?
I am holding back one of the babies to breed back to her to see if there is a codom gene here that will produce a super. Has anyone produced a super form of the banded or reduced gene?

I'm new at this but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. This is just what I think of when someone says banded or reduced pattern.

Banded Bps have connected brown patches from one side to the other. This is a Tiger banded but you get the idea.

Reduced Pattern Bps just have fewer to no black markings inside of the brown markings. They don't always have the bands.

Check out my website I have three different Genetic Banded lines I'm working with, Oscar Tigers, European Banana Tigers, and Diesel Tigers, the Diesel Tigers when bred together produce an awesome looking Super Diesel Tiger that is the pic in my avatar ;)

I believe the reduced pattern is not genetic but tigers are.

    Tigers are reduced patterns

Here are a few pictures of my Super Diesel Tiger:

Oscar Tigers x Oscar Tiger = a more blushed out oscar tiger. . .I will be running a pastel oscar tiger x pastel oscar tiger this year hopefully get a few super pastel oscar tigers

Banana Tigers are just a more yellow banded Tiger, I have a pastel European Banana Tiger which is an awesome yellow and black banded snake.

Diesel Tiger x Diesel Tiger = Super diesel tiger which reduces the snakes banding even more as pictured above and they have a spider like belly they look awesome in person and I can't wait to start running this morph to other morphs. The super Diesel will be running back to mom this year to see if there is an even more banded version of this snake. . . fingers crossed ;)

I thought tigers and banded were the same, and reduced patterns were a random natural occurrence.
