    What do these morph combos produce?
    I am pairing up my male %100 het lavender albino with my %100 het pied. They have been locking up like crazy the past week. I was thinking the male was too small but it seems like he is up to the task. Will they produce %50 double hets? im not too sure. any info will help Im kinda new, only been into ball pythons for about 2 yrs now and my babies I purchased are getting of age now.

    Im confused in the hets. Is it an albino het lavander, or double het for lavander AND albino?

    Since you are dealing with 3 recesive, you would get possible triple hets. Again confused about the albino.

    It is het for lavender albino wich is totally diff from an albino. you can basically just call it a lavender. but looks kinda like an albino but with lavender color where the white is in the albino. I think...lol.

    Oh duh didnt think about that lol. Ya seems like possible double hets, untill you prove them out. That seems kinda rough to prove them out.

    not a good pairing IMHO, sorry.

    you would expect all NORMAL looking babies.
    het Albino X het Lavender =
    25.00% Normal
    25.00% het. Albino
    25.00% het. Lavender
    25.00% het. Albino, het. Lavender

    basiclly every animal has a 50/50 chance at being a het of some kind and a 25% chance of being a DH.. Pretty long Odds

    Yeah I agree kinda tuff....I just figured that id pair them up since they are the only two I have that are breedable. My fem het lav is only 600 grams and my male het pied is only 400+ grams. next year I should be able to pair up my het pieds tho and produce some visuals, but im lookin at a few years till I can pair up my female het lav with my male het lav. Im hoping that some of the babies have the really defined het pied markers like the mom does and those will be the ones I keep and try and prove out.

    Ok, I had to go look at this because my brain just refuses to retain this but here's what I found. Someone who's a pro at this needs to let us know if it's right though.

    Na x Na =
    NN - normal/wild type
    Na - Double Het.
    Na - Double Het.
    aa - Morph

    Should I try and put my het pied male in with the female het pied? He is only a little over 400 grams now. So I should prob take the het lav out and wait for my male to gain a little weight?

    That going to depend on what Na stands for..

    Do it like this

    N = Normal
    p= het Pied
    la = het Lav

    Np x Nla =

    NN = normal
    Np = het pied
    Nla = Het Lav
    lap = DH Lav Pied
