cinnamon - light or dark?
What does everyone think...
Do darker cinnys produce darker supers?
Do the lighter cinnys produce "better" pewters?

I like very light colored cinnamons, but I like very dark black pastels. They both have interesting traits to offer.

Agree with MarkS--I think these two morphs shouldn't be line-bred to look the same. Black Pastels look fantastic when they are super dark with lots of black, and cinnies work well when they have lighter, richer colors.
However, I want to say that the SHADE of brown in a cinnamon is more important to me than how dark it is. I think the brown of a cinnie should be a darker shade of brown than that of a typical normal.

I agree.
I also like the patterns that seem to run together on the sides of a lot of cinnys.

I like very dark high contrast patterned blacks, and I like both the light and dark cinnies...
But for a blushed cinnie to catch my eye it has to be very blushed with high white sides.

Re: cinnamon - light or dark?
I'm actually a bit split between a black pastel and cinnamon. I like the results that a black pastel brings out in pairings like: 8 balls, pewters and other combos.
But I do like the general appearence on a cinnamon.
I've also noted that people charge more for a black pastel than a cinnamon. Does that mean a black pastel is more 'exclusive'? I'm a bit curious since I don't have any co-doms.

I like a cinni with even color and very bold patterns..

I didn't expect the poll to be so even. Right now it's 10 for light and 10 for dark.
Interesting.
