hets and aggression poll

has anyone out there noticed their hets being more aggressive than the normals they have. I have two het albinos a het pied and 3 het clowns all of which are more aggressive than the normals that I have. the het clowns especially so.
my thought is that maybe hets for certain traits tend to be more aggressive and that could possibly be the reason why so many ball python morphs exist. If the hets are more aggressive then maybe they are more aggressive feeders, and breeders as well. that would give hets an advantage over a normal ball python and thus lead to more morphs in the wild. anyway just kinda throwing this out there and thought I would see what you guys thought.

Not sure about the Hets but I've talked with a local guy who says his Pinstripes are more aggressive and I've read that Red Axanthics are also.

oops I just realized I put this in the wrong place...could a mod move this to BP advanced husbandry???

well i actually own a pinstripe that is also het..

she is a sweetheart, really docile!

i also handled a pinstrip at house of scales and he was a really nice snake too.

What is your pinstripe het. for if you don't mind me asking?

I have a double Het that is kinda nasty but not to me...sometimes i try to feed him and he gets mad and strikes at the rat but dose not eat it...has not bit me yet....

I don't think any one morph or het. is any more aggressive that another. I have some pretty crazy normal females and one that are very sweet. My most aggressive is my male black pastel, but that doesn't mean all black pastels are aggressive

Each snake is inclined to its own personality.

Be it het or not.

I find that it really depends on the animal itself.

My worst animal is a "Normal"

OMG maybe my poss het clown really is a het!!! :banana: :rofl: He's nasty! Once you get him out of his tub he's fine, but my land does he have a bad temper. There isn't a day that goes by that he's not hissing at me. He's never bit me, but he's struck at me plenty of times!!!

He's my only het, and my only ill-natured BP so I voted yes :P
