    Are "Platty Sibling" around
I was hoping to find out more about who has the lessers and if there are any platty sibs becoming available or are they still being horded by the elite:)

Lessers are available throughout the community, check kingsnake.com or faunaclassifieds.com, there's a bunch available.

Ya i have seen the lessers around but i am more interested in the siblings at this piont. Should be able to find a nice lesser when the time is right. But a Platty sibbling or 2 would be nice if i decide to start into this morph

Not at all trying to be rude but..... I would suggest getting the 3 you already have living in the same enclosure seperated and in proper living arrangements before you look to add anything else to your collection.

First, I didnt realize you were the guy with the 3 snakes/1 tank. iCandi is right, separate and provide separate enclosures for all.

Second, wtf is a platty sibling? You want a normal that came from a clutch of lesser's or what? A normal from a clutch of lessers won't do anything for you morphwise, lesser is a co-dom trait and if it's not visual it's not carrying it.

I believe that he wants one of the true platties produced by breeding a lesser back to the platty daddy.

Did Ralph ever produce the original Platty? I was just reading about it today and I still dont know, as far as I know the only Platinum in existence is still there and still not reproduced.

A platty sibling is the second half of what you need to recreate the platty daddy. When bred to a normal, the platty daddy produces lesser platinums and normal looking siblings that carry a hidden gene. Breed one of those hidden gene siblings to a lesser and you have a chance at producing a platty daddy.

As far as the availability of them, your best bet would be to get them straight from Ralph Davis. I think someone produced a platty daddy last year on accident, but other than that I haven't heard or seen anything about more being produced.

As far as I know, Ralph's line of Lessers is the only line capable of making Platty's.
