Nice video. Have you considered using a plastic pint/quart mayo jar or something similar that has a wider mouth so you don't have to break the ice in such small pieces. Other than that, it seems to work pretty well. :gj:

Re: Cheap Gas Chamber
cool video.
You could have just put the dry ice in a bag and hammer that down...it would have been easier than a mortar and pestle...
I have something similar to that, except i used baking soda and vinegar...but last time i did it, i didn't work...Oh well back to the drawing board...

I get my dry ice at my local grocery store. The local welding supply and gas store sells it too.

Re: Cheap Gas Chamber
DO NOT mix dry Ice and GLASS, the glass bottle/container will explode into a million pieces under presure!!!
There is a reason why he used plastic bottles. Plastic bottles are flexible expand a bit and let the gas scape before pleasure builds up and the plastic bottle explodes. If there was no hole in the cap, the plastic bottle would explode too.
And if you need personal expirience to back it up....
When I was younger, my 2 brothers and I used to play alot with fire, fire works (the kind that you'll never see being sold in the US) and water with dry Ice. Although dry ice with water does not make flames, It does produce very nasty explosions. My older brother has a scar in his leg from an explossion with dry ice and a glass bottle. I dont remember how many stiches he has, but at least 10-15.
