    Angry little cobra
So a few months ago. My mums hognose escaped during feeding time. I was at work, got a text. Welo had escaped. My mum was devastated, enough to want to sell our entire collection because Welo was her baby. Shes just a normal no het that we know of western hog. But thats mums baby. Anyway we didnt sell our collection because the four snake owners/breederd she knows all told her dont, she'll turn up. Well she didnt. She never turned up. We never found her. Mum was still saddened and wouldnt even look at hoggies for sale or anything.

Well my sister was cleaning out a pantry. We have a few old 'blender cups' for an old ninja type blender we used to have. Guess who was in the bottom of one of those cups? Welo. Welo was in the blender cup. Unharmed unscathed. I came home from work to sister fuming cuz shes afraid of snakes but she was excited she found her. Mum was excited (told over phone).

I looked her over and she was longer than she used to be. She was so angry, still angry, miniature cobra, hissing up a storm, but the second i had her in my hands, she was calm and quiet. She got offered food the day after we found her and she glaldy ate it. Needless to say, she is now tightly contained in a new tub, fresh water, and checked on every day. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...bca07e5e5e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...66343d67ce.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...3737561490.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e55090f52a.jpg

I'm so glad this little girl is safely home! She's really not helping me not get a hognose though.

Should definitely get one, as angry as she was, the moment i held her she calmed right down and relaxed.

Mum was distraught. She wanted to get rid of everything, including our balls because she felt like she failed because it happened on her watch while i was at work. That in turn made me stress because those snakes are my life, even if i do rehome some, they still are a big part of my happiness.
