Figment - Our Hypo Lavender Corn Baby
Last week we got a beautiful 3 month old Hypo Lavender corn snake from BHB.
He is purple - my wife loves him!! He is super sweet and calm even at 9 grams! He happily ate his first pinkie (F/T) with us the other day and is doing great.
He is a nice addition to Shanya (our Albino Spider Ball), our 3 leopard geckos, and George, our 8 year old bearded dragon.

Re: Figment - Our Hypo Lavender Corn Baby
Thanks guys!
We went with Figment because he is Purple and my wife loves Disney. Figment was my favorite disney world character. Remember Epcot's Imagination ride?
I'll update with photos as he grows and his color changes.

Shann,
Love the pics and way cool on the disney naming.
My wife loved your post.
We haven't been to disney in years - my wife hurt her back and I had a kidney transplant.
She still watches every disney movie that comes out though!
Again, thanks for the comments and love your pics.
David
P.S. We named our Beardie, George, after George Carlin. One of our dogs, Tyler, was named after Tyler Durden from Fight Club. Shayna, our Albino Spider Ball is named that because it means beautiful in Yiddish.

Re: Figment - Our Hypo Lavender Corn Baby
And to think we thought we were being original too!
Well, it is a good name none the less.
It amazes me how something that tiny can get so big. He will be 4-5FT and 500-800Grams give or take. That's amazing - as he is 12G today (having gained 1-2 grams in the past week).
Female Ball Pythons at 4 months are about 150 grams give or take - Shayna was 200G when we got her at almost 6 months old. The females average 2200 grams (does this sound right?).
So, 2200/150 = 14.7 or roughly 15X the size at 4 months.
Figment at 4 months is 12G. So 650 grams to use a round number / 12G = 54X!!! He will be 54X this size!
Kinda cool to compare different growth in the two different snakes.
Thanks to all for commenting.
