    Cant a reptile test negative for coccidia but still carry the parasite? They dont always shed it.

    the tapeworm is the parasite that was expelled. the coccidia is a completely different parasite and it not visible in the feces although it is contained in an infected reptiles waste. it is spread through contact with the feces of an animal that is harboring it.

    Because Ed is banned from this site (for things that happened some time ago and have absolutely nothing to do with the events in this thread)...he can not respond to any accusations or inquiries made in this thread. Now that Emily has had a chance to post up the issue on BOI, anyone wishing to discuss the matter can do so there...so that Ed may respond as he sees fit.
