I don't know yet....I'm in architectural engineering, and we have a seperate class than the other engineering majors I believe. I guess I'm going to find out the hard way :P

Re: what do you do for a living?
I work for Barnes & Noble as a cafe server. It sucks sometimes. Customers are all sometimes snooty, they don't understand that a TALL is a SMALL. I could go on and on about things that annoy us cafe servers. Our cafe manager and lead both just quit because upper management stinks.
I wish I could get a job working with a petstore. I'd work with the betta fish and reptiles mostly. Oh and cats. hehe.

What I do for a living..
Well besides school and family and pet life.
I volunteer for Savrey Wildlife Center in Washington. I rescue birds throughout spring, young and old, and rehab them. I dont have a job yet, but I do plan on getting one with animals, thats for sure. I dont think Im very good at anythign else, only if it involves animals.

Re: what do you do for a living?
I don't have a job...so to speak. However..between caring for my 3 children, husband and all my pets, taking care of our house, PTA vp, Cheer mom, and the many other things I tend to do to keep myself busy...I don't have have enough time left for a "job".
I did drive a school bus for 5 1/2 years. I just quit at the end of the last school year. I did enjoy it and was sad to leave.

I *LOVE* those things! People who stand in line to buy just regular tickets are stoopid. Use the machine - done!

For 11 years, I worked as a software developer for a company that makes mapping software (geographic information systems or GIS), focusing primarily on the printing and exporting functionality - company is called ESRI. Two years ago I transferred to the support department, so now I work the phones and email helping people print and export. It's okay most days but some days are very tiring. =P

Re: what do you do for a living?
I used to be web designer in Texas,US and Tokyo,Japan, now I'm back to Thailand (almost 2 years now) and have been importing reptiles from the States from last November. The best job I ever have! :D
I'm proud to say that I import many new snakes into Thai market for the first time(i.e. Snow Hondo, Anery Hondo, Pastel Ball, high end corn, Albino Tiger retic, Super Tiger Retic, etc.) Not a show off, I'm just proud in what I accomplished. :)
My next step will be importing mammals and reptiles from Africa. Wish me luck....I need it considering reputation of African exporter. Don't want to make it sound like all African exporters are bad, but they do not have the best reputation in the world.
Now I'm worry lol

I know it's not that complicated, but what's wrong with small, medium, large? :)

Re: what do you do for a living?
It's fun for now. The only poblem I can't solve is...time different. It's 12 hours different between Thailand and the US (EST).
I work alone, so in the day time in Thailand, I talk to customers(individual hobbylist & Pet stores.) Night time I need to check e-mail, make a phone call to US suppliers. My working cycle is like 12pm-7am lol. Not everyday though, or else I would be crazy by now.
Oh I would like to tell you all about all the stress from trying to make a deal with customers, customers back out of the deal that I already made with US suppliers made me wanna stop doing this sometimes. One time customer order a pair of $125 Red Rattlesnake, which cost me $300 extra in shipping and tax, and he told me those snakes weren't what he want, WTF?! The funniest thing, when I look back now, is what happen to my first shipment. My shipment got mixed up with another shipment and got shipped to my neighbor country and their shipment got sent to me. It took me almost 2 weeks to exchange stuffs with the people who got my stuffs. Thailand prohibit export/re-export any kind of snake, so I exchange animals with them by bus lol No damage done to animals though, what a luck.
Recently I just got burned by customer who bought me a pair of 10 foot Albino Tiger Retic and one 5 foot ALbino Lavender Retic. He still own me $2,300 but nowhere to be seen. I'm not mad though coz he already paid me $2,800 which already cover my end plus a little profit :)
However, the rewarding part comes when I got to open the box full of animals. And I also can order rare animals(to Thais) for my pet. I'm expecting Pastel BPs from Don Kaye for this shipment, 2 of them will be for myself to keep...until I'm out of money. I also will get conrsnakes from Bayou, which I'll keep Sunglowstripe, Hypo Lavender Stripe, Hypo Bloodred as my pets. To think about it, if I sell all animals in stead of keeping them, my bank account would look much nicer by now. :D I also like to call and talk with breeders in the States, I can get animals below market price since I buy in lot, but all the knowledge I got from them are priceless.
I love this job...for now
