it's not a heater... you have a UTH - it's a thermostat which will regulate how much heat the UTH gives off.

what are your temps? warm and cool side.

how many hides do you have and where are they located.

    what's your humidity?

exactly what type of an enclosure is this snake in?

how many roommates does it have (sharing the enclosure)

and you use newspaper on the bottom...

i am concerned for you... with $8,000 worth of snakes... i would think you'd have a kick-butt vet working with ya.

okay... i don't know what two hid bowex is and then you mention a hide box on the opposite side with damp moss in it.

you only need a humid hide for when they are shedding. otherwise you don't keep it in the tank. they need two hides. one on the warm side and one on the cool side.

i'm going to back out of this thread now cause honestly nicole... you are either pulling our legs cause i can't imagine someone with $8,000 in snakes would NOT know how to measure temps, how to use a thermostat, wouldn't have a qualified vet available for their snakes and... IMO, they would not house mulitiple snakes together. the investment of their snakes would be very important to them and they would know how to keep them properly.

so... if you really do have all those snakes - please... read some caresheets on ball pythons.

    bye,
