The truth is I am refreshing that page every 5 minutes to see what nonsence he will post next. I'm attached to it like a magnet.

I think he's got issues that need to be addressed and not buried.

he is talking about his next show that will be released and he will be bashing every one that has something negative to say...extremely poor business practices IMO. I think newbies need to be made aware of what he is doing. :2cent:

After reading the thread on the BOI, watching the ego ridden MKR-TV nonsense, I would never support MKR with my dollars. It's clear Joe cares about one thing, and one thing only - $$$. He doesn't care about his customers, just his goal of $1M in 20 days. Good luck to him, because I for one won't be helping him reach his goals.

BP KID Shaun, you are certainly entitled to your opinions.


But do your research before you form those opinions. joe capone is a mentally disturbed man, with the thoughts of putting all ball python and now all gecko breeders out of business.

If you have decieded that you never want to purchase anything from me. because I disagree with joe capones business practices, and just about every thing else he stands for, thats ok.

His first reply to anyone that challenges him is he is a millionaire and he will put you out of business. well, I challenge him and he will not put me out of business. you see there is a very strong market for quality ball pythons, everyone is not looking for the cheapest price.all I really see coming from MKR is inferior inbreed genetically weak cheap ball python hatchlings. if thats what you want to start your collection with. good luck

You should also consider experience, joe capone knew nothing about ball pythons prior to 2002, I have been keeping and breeding balls since 1985.

I have used some words on fauna that im not proud of. but thats a tought crowd over there and you some times need to assert yourself in a different way. :salute:

not that i even begin to know a lot of what is going on in this thread but i would like to say one thing.

as a consumer i am very specific about where i spend my money. i look at it as "paying someone's wage" or "paying someone's lease to keep them in business" - so... you seldom find me in walmart or shopping at chapter's bookstores. i prefer to support people - and when i go into a small pet store, locally owned and operated and see the quality they have in product and employees... then i take my business to that store. yes i can get it cheaper somewhere else... but i believe in putting my money where the service, knowledge and quality is.

when we go out to restaurants... if we like the owners, like the employees, then we go there. if we love the food but don't like the "business" then we dont' go there. simple.

it's not always thrifty to live this way... but i can tell you... i feel good about feeding the 12 cent crickets to my tarantulas (which come from the local pet store) instead of the 7 cents crickets from petcetera.

and that "good spending karma" i'm building up... makes me proud!

All I have to say about MKR is, Karma. They seemed to forget about those people who paid top dollar to them last year for Lessers, and Mojaves from them...undercutting prices like Walmart and leaving their old customers high and dry...sheesh. I know a lot of people have lost a bit of money on morphs due to market price changes...but it just shows you that with businesses like MKR you get what you pay for, poor customer loyalty, and a used car salesmen salespitch. "Top producer of BPs in the World"...really? I would say top infomercial snake sellers in the biz....wait, wait. The Only Informercial Ball Python sellers in the biz.

Never Getting my business. Wes, buy some bigger shorts with that 1 mil in 20 days you want, and Joe buy a better personality.

I have no connection to this issue, however I am somewhat enthralled by all this. The thing that keeps coming into my mind is if he is successful at putting all the other big boys out of business, he will be successful in putting all the little guys up sh*** creek. So if he does that will he not in a sense have a monopoly? After all, this is an industry from a governmental standpoint, so couldn't he be running into legal issues if his plan succeeds?

I would have to say, I would LOVE to be able to buy animals at the prices that they have them at, however (like it has already been said), his unethical business practices will make me never buy from him. Not to mention that is just being a straight jackass on the BOI, all those typos from an industry leader? You would think he would be working his ass off to sound as professional as possible. He will get his if he crashes the market hard enough.

Frankly, I don't like the way he treats his customers...
