Loved ones don't like your herp friends ???

my grandma came over when I was hanging out with one of my bps on the couch watching tv and freaked and informed me that "snakes can poison you" haha..

I want every one to notice that I made this post 13 days after I joined..And its still popping up from time to time :carrot:

WOW pretty cool. By the way my friends love coming over and seeing the snakes, but more of them like the rats more....

There's a girl that I REALLY like. I heard from a reliable source that she really likes me too :cool:

So I went out to take her for a drink, told her I have snakes at home, and she said she'll never enter my home in this lifetime.

I wish I could get her to know more about snakes, I just don't know how. Anyway, she's not that cool anymore. And there are more fish in the sea. Maybe some fish that aren't afraid of snakes :rolleye2:

Yea some times the "S" bomb is not really a first date kinda shocker-roo.
There are load of women that love snake this site is evidence of this fact.

True, I do know some girls that really love them. But it's still tricky to let "new" girls (not that I'm a womanizer ) get used to the idea.

"Love me, love my dog" can be turned into "Love me, love my snake". If you're special to her...she may not like your collection, but she can honor you by respecting the hobby....compromising. You know...the idea of agreeing to disagree. Maybe she won't help feed or hold 'em, but she'll accept that YOU enjoy doing those things. Then, you know she's even more worth it.

On the other hand, if even that attitude is a deal-breaker...there are LOTS of us ladies who'd die for a herp!!! :D :D :D

I'm getting back to the dating scene, and that's a biggee for men, too! It's not just WOMEN who can't deal w/the pets/hobby. I've actually had two guys tell me "absolutely not" (but not in such polite terms). :O :rolleyes: When asked what "other" pets, I calmly tell them reptiles. If they dig and ask what kind, then I tell them snakes. I don't tell them HOW MANY or what kinds they are,...you know..how big.....until they're cool with the idea of the herp.
