I'm not sure if any of the Wolf spiders web up.
We have a ton of ants this year. They have taken over all my spots :(

I have always called those cave crickets.

Before the end of the day she laid about a dozen eggs before she passed.

Sorry about coming a little late to the party on this answer but I just seen this thread. The moth you found is called a polyphemus. The reason it was near dead is they have no mouths in this stage. They eat as caterpillars, pupate inside a cacoon about an inch and a quarter in length. When the emerge they live for about a week to two weeks tops. All the stage is supposed to do is mate, drop eggs, and die. Circle of life Simba.

I used to find them alot when I was a kid. There is another large one I used to find as well called a cecropia. Thanks for sharing all these pics with us.

I have been watching the eggs but nothing has hatched. They might not be fertile.
She was really cool. Thanks for the info.

I had one that I thought was a Wolf and it turned out to be a grass spider. That thing made awesome webs. She would run around webbing real quick.

    Look at this little girl

Well closer inspection of the little turtle, looks like something has chewed her up.
Giving her a Betadine bath and maggots are coming out of her wound.

Update on the other turtle posted a couple a weeks ago. His eyes are looking better but he is blind.

We are in talks at work to build a turtle rehab :)
