I LOVE how her head spear is connected to the first saddle.

That is a very special boa.
Gus Rentfro, IMO was a purist when it came to locality animals.
While he did selectively breed, he ALWAYS respected and cherished the "wild type" animals. If I recall correctly one of the boas he felt was one of the most beautiful boas he'd seen was a dark and speckled, wild, Peruvian BCC.
Sauzo, and I have beautiful animals created by Gus.
Gus is the boa God, and his knowledge and passion for ALL locality boas is admirable!

If you think about getting a pure locality boa, check out Chris Wolf. I really didnt know too much about him but i listened to him and Vin Russo talk on Herp radio episode 9. I guess Chris and Vin are friends and Chris also believes in the purist way for boas and never crosses anything. All his breeder stuff is from Vin or Gus. He has the same mindset as Gus and Vin. All his stuff is paper work tracked and/or CITES backed as he doesnt want 'mutts'. He breeds a lot of pure local stuff, not just Surinames. He breeds BCLs, BCOs, BCC and all 'purist' boas. He doesnt do morphs though. Like i said, i wanted a really dark almost black BCL aka Peruvian Longtail but he wont have another litter until next year. So I'll probably pick up another Gus Rentfro Pokigron male from him :) These locality boas are kind of addicting haha.

I get really snakey in the summer time.
Sniper is in shed and turns 5 June 28th. He's a big fella now approaching 7 feet. He's going to be fed well this summer after a winter off.
I still have Suri syndrome and would really like to own one some day.
Until then gimme some G!
Haha, i was playing with Gina last night in bed while watching TV. She was having a blast crawling around my head. Then after about an hour of her exploring, she got tired or bored and just plopped her butt on my hand and laid her head down on the blanket. She sat like that for about 30 mins before i decided it was bed time and tried to put her back. She wasnt too keen on the idea and tried to double back and stretch out to reach my neck to sit out more lol. I directed her head to her hide and she went in but immediately doubled back and sat there looking at me. She was not amused with being put back haha.
Here's a few indoor pics of her. She wasnt too thrilled as today is dinner day so was expecting that and not picture day lol. She's starting to get some pinks on her sides.
And Sniper is probably bigger than Rosey. Rosey is around 6.5' and about the same age.
