The biggest reason I have not cut them is because I've never done it before. The biggest reason that I would cut them is as a learning experience. If I had the type of scissors I wanted I probably would have done it two nights ago or today... :P

LOL! I know my aunt has some nice ones... right across the freeway... but that would involve me getting in the car and driving over there... for a pair of scissors... Maybe on my way back from recycling...........
