a part of what? I am to blame for someone selling cheep bunk snakes? Or who even knows if he is selling snakes and not just a guy with a computer. I havnt even baught this snake yet let alone bred. I could have went to some shmuck and spent probably half that, but I didnt because the breeder I worked with I respected and trusted. The fact of the matter is I most likely wont get the pied off this guy, I more or less posted this thread to see what everyone was up to today and feel peoples opinions on the matter. for the most part (not all of you) I kinda of got the generic to good to be true response and for others I just got bashed. I havnt consulted this forum before on how I spend my money, so why would you think it mattered now. More or less I was just curious to see if anyone has gotten burned before and peoples opinion on the subject. Boy was that a bad idea. and lady most of this wasnt directed towards you or anything. Just the thread in general.

This is true if you do the odds with the 60 some odd morphs there is 4 million different combos. And there are rumors of more co-doms and recessive mutations in africa that Amir just hasn't come off of. :D

So when bps of any variety become under 100$ its a fall? Why? Just curious because I never understood that really. If all of a sudden porches sold for 100$ and everyone had one would you say to yourself I dont want a porche because its now ruined for all the diehard porche fans. I will be happy when I can hang out in my basement and brew up any snake I want for 100$ Isnt that the reason there are still so many corn breeders still. Because they really love the snakes and not the money.

I appreciate your candor. I just think it was a bad idea to go about it this way.

Spending money and such things with price tags in public is just tacky in my opinion, unless you are putting up a classified ad.

haha I was having a great day. A solid 8 hours of warm sleep and a good breakfast. Its just a weird vibe in here today. But I agree, this post went to weird unneeded places and id rather just move on. Sorry everyone.

Well, that's a different tune. Your posts lead me to believe you were getting this pied no matter what we advised about the 'deal', because $900 was no object until he screwed you. :cool:


edit: I agree with Heather, very tacky to wave prices in our face unless it is for a legitimate question whether it was a good deal or not. It was taken it beyond that into something else entirely.

I lived outside of town and used to hang at Rainbow's End, when Laura owned it (on the corner and across from Bran's music shop...can't remember what he called it.) This was years ago- like 22 years ago!!! Then I spent some time in Montross then back to Fredericksburg then out west!
