    They need to be educated on the differences of WC, CB. I think there is a difference in the snakes temperment, when its a WC or CB.

    I got an e-mail back from Dave Barker regarding the permits they intend to instate for venomous and giant constrictors:

    Quote:

    This law creates only a registry for the snakes the Committee perceives as
    potentially danger. It does not ban them, nor does it require any
    inspections or qualifications. They simply require that the owners of large
    snakes and, more importantly, venomous snakes be registered so that
    first-line responders will know about this "hazard" at given locations.

    I can't say what the Texas Legislators will come up with in future years,
    but right now, other than some city and county ordinances, your big snakes
    should be welcomed in the State.
