Hehe, slippers! Cuteness! And if you notice her rubbing her chin on stuff, that's her way of saying "this is mine... and this is mine... this is mine too!" lol! Daphne especially does this all the time. It's a lot like when a cat rubs their head/cheek on stuff, but bunnies do it with their lil chins!

BTW, we just switched from Carefresh Ultra to Cell-Sorb on your recommendation, and man that stuff is nice! :) Cheaper and more absorbant. Harder to keep track of urination though for certain recovering bunnies, but still. Good stuff! Thanks!

on a bunny forum i joined... they recommend using the wood pellets you buy at home depot or rona... for wood stoves. they said it's way cheaper and it works great :)

i plan on picking some up soon and giving it a try. if it works well i may tranfer the cats onto it as well. currently we are using yesterday's news (pellet/newspaper)

Just be careful what kind of wood! The same stuff that's bad for snakes is bad for buns. Let us know how that works out though, I'm pleased so far with the cell-sorb. Although you should have seen me hauling that 28qt bag too the bus stop and home again, lol! Oy.

i picked some up from our local feed store... had no idea they carried the pellets for wood stoves... at $3.99 for a 40 lb bag... what a HUGE savings. we are using them... 50-50 for our cats as well (yesterday's news and pellets) to get them transferred over. with so many cats (6) we change the litter boxes a couple times a week minimum... so this will save us lots of money :D
