Nicoele(if i spelled it wrong i am sorry), i am sorry if i sounded like i was being a jerk(no comments from the rest of you here lol). When i read your first post about the belly problem and then the keeping reptiles together, and your own words of that you have to many to keep them in seperate enclosures.I kicked into over drive and posted everything that i have ever experianced by keeping snakes in enclosure together. Then you posted about the books it took me up another notch.Of all the books i have ever bought in my beggining they were exactly what i told you earlier,a waste of paper.Everything i know now has been from hands on experiance, talking to other freinds whom are breeders of numerous reptiles and i try to pass on my knowledge to the members here.I never waste time listening to people at pet stores as very few really know what they are talking about(of course this is another story).I have helped alot of people in my short time being here and i have also had help given to myself from the members here. What i am trying to really say here is my first thought was to help your reptiles and forgot about helping you understand what i really ment.I apologize if i hurt your feelings:) .Could i offer you some advice? Since your vet is unaware of what it is on your snakes belly is there another reptile vet in your area? It concerns me that your vet had no idea and just ended it there. Its obvious you are still concerned though.

may i ask you a few questions. this may help us out a bit.

what are your temps? warm and cool side.

how many hides do you have and where are they located.

    what's your humidity?

exactly what type of an enclosure is this snake in?

how many roommates does it have (sharing the enclosure)

and you use newspaper on the bottom...

i am concerned for you... with $8,000 worth of snakes... i would think you'd have a kick-butt vet working with ya.
