I actually might start out here doing 5 day increments though because Larry was maintenance feeding him Im sure to keep a bunch of Burm hatchlings from outgrowing the rack space. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thats awesome! Its actually exciting because as much as I love my Jungle Carpet girl, the growth rate is SOO slow and she is fed very well. I bought my Burm for a few reasons but size is one of them! Cant wait!

Me too. I was going to get a boa because I thought a burm would be to much but when I saw adults in person I just had to have one :D

The feeding schedule you are aiming for sounds really good. The 5 days in between feedings are almost over here for me. Just like yours, mine needed just a tad of a boost. Probably will go to a 7 to 9 schedule in the very near future with mine. As long as Loki keeps shedding every 3 to 4 weeks I feel he is at a healthy pace. The database you refered to would be pretty cool and I agree it is a small world.

I convinced the little guy to eat his first frozen thawed rat pup with me tonight!
He was on live pups from the breeder so I figured it was going to be a little bit of a challenge to make the transition. Well, he would approach the pup on the tongs super fast like he wanted it....but then he wouldnt strike. After about five minutes I wasnt having luck so I tried something that used to work with BP hatchlings I had years ago....annoy him slightly. It doesnt always work, but sometimes ....it does.
Rubbed the rat slightly against him.....aaaaaaand? Presto! He gave a lethargic bite to it, gave a slow wrap around it and took it! Almost as if to say "Well its not what I wanted but it will work". Get used to it pal, live feeders arent very convenient for me :D....but I love ya lol
