Well I will be in the market cause Gio isn't. Those are gorgeous. Let me know when they are available. I have my eye on a couple options...

Thanks everyone! [emoji4] I feel like this pairing was perfect. I got pretty much the result I was hoping for. Moya passed on her aberrant jungle pattern, which means if paired to a striped male, she would likely produce stripes. The sire cleaned up the litter and created some nice peaks. A few have that super thin X shaped saddles mixed with peaks. Crazy! They're all 100% Suriname. I just took two very different looking adults hoping they would compliment each other, and boy did they!

Usually very young boas don't present that kind of color right off the bat.

You hit a grand slam IMO!

Believe me, they look even better in person. These are just unedited cell phone pics on an iPhone 7! Some of them already have so much pink and ivory showing through along their backs that I'm just blown away. I can't wait for the first shed!

    Finally paired my surinames
Ok, now I think I should give the info I have on possible background. I have found the original breeder that my male came from, though I have not yet been able to speak to him because he has not been at our last two local shows that he normally vends. At the time that Spartacus was purchased, The only good line of BCC that was going around in Chicago was the Bob Futo line (RIP Bob), but until I can get verification from the original breeder of my sire I cannot claim that line. As for my female, she came from Ben Siegal back in 2009 before he had his mental breakdown. At that time he was only purchasing from local Florida breeders. I have since had a personal conversation with FRT/Florida red tails about the Dam - Moya. During this conversation I was told that she looks just like one of their original striped aberrant pattern boas was that they were working with back then. So there is a very good chance that these boas are Futo/FRT line, but because I cannot 100% guarantee that, these are now my FES line of BCC Suriname boas. It took me many years before I finally bred her, but I basically did the exact same thing that Vin Russo did. I proved the aberrant/jungle/striped pattern is genetic in my female. I also proved that my male will lighten up anything he is paired to. So my babies are my own FES line of BCC Suriname boas. I am strongly considering holding back a male with connected saddles to breed back to Moya to produce stripes and partial stripes. This is the beginning of an amazing line of Surinam's. The FES line.
