yeah but I would assume if you're an admin, you probably have way more experience than us non-admins.

Which a lot of people would assume. However, some people with more knowledge may not have the time or want the added responsibilty of being an admin added to their list of thing to do. I know I wouldn't want to have to read through threads like the one that was just locked everyday in it's entirety. (I did, but wouldn't want to do it every day...lol) :P

You can lead a horse to water, but sometimes you just end up with a wet horse smell.
Let this one drop and give time for learning to occur.
Thank You! I understand different opinions and that you guys are trying to help my snake get the very best, but the way I'm getting treated is so disrespectful! So thank you for your kindness and maturity.

Sorry but your snake really isn't getting the best. Your husbandry is questionable and I fear for your snake's life. I hope you finally learn from what everyone is saying before your snake gets any sort of respiratory infection...not that you'd know what it would look like. You'll be wishing you listened to all of us when your snake is laying dead in his tank from either being cooked to death or getting super sick.

At the moment your snake is not anywhere near getting the best husbandry, he is actually in a very dangerous situation. From too low ambient to boiling hot hot spot, and the one picture I saw of his set up he had only one huge hide and a water bowel. Period. Please go back and re read the care sheets available on this forum or get on Amazon and get an ebook on BP's or call a REPTILE SPECIALIST VET. The University's usually have a reptile/exotic vet on staff. These are animals totally dependent on our care and knowledge. They can't jump the fence and run away or hide from cruelty, their environment is entirely our responsibility. Refusing to listen to people far better educated in the hobby/business and purposely putting your animal in the environment you have is cruelty, plain and simple, I don't care how old you are. I saw on another thread you are getting a dimmer, better than nothing, but certainly not the best that you refer to.
