Virgin BP laid 6 eggs!

Photos coming as soon as I can figure out how to do it again.

I'm pretty sure those are dead, but don't take my word for it. How many days old are they?

i hope it's just a pre-hatch thing, but it looks like eggs suffered from low humidity:confusd:

51 days now, maybe 52.

At this point I would cut the eggs and move them to an incubator if they're good, seeing as they don't look to good. If they're alive they're likely developed enough that it wont hurt them and if they're not alive, we'll know. But since you don't have an incubator I'm not sure what to do. You don't necessarily want to remove them becAuse they could be alive but if they're dead you don't want to leave them. And you can't cut them because mama might squish out the baby juices. If the eggs are pretty soft you could try poking gently at the sides and look for movement and feel for a shape.

I threw the eggs out today. They were all very dry and firm. I cut one of them open to find a deceased BP (so I was right about them being fertile).

If she lays again, I will do it right. My research for next year's potential clutch is now beginning. Sorry everyone.
