I've seen the triple cherries on a lot of things...I work at Hot Topic and we get *so* much stuff in with them on it. Does it have a specific meaning? I know the cherry in general stands for virginity or "innocence".....but what is the triple cherry?
It looks good. Who's your artist? I thought I remembered your saying you were 17...did a parent sign off for you?
Sorry for all the questions, new tattoos and people new *to* them intrigue me.

Possible. ;) I always used to call them "mutant cherries" at work, until I accidentally said it in front of a girl who happened to have a triple cherry tat (that I didn't know about). She got really upset because I called her cherries mutant. Hey, I didn't know, I thought they were GMO!

    Ah, I worked in Hot-Topic when I was 16.

I'm not digging our new happy-shiny-pretty makeover, but the company's pretty good to its employees. Not sure if this was the way when you were working, but now we get concert reimbursements, 40% discount, scholarship opportunities and a few other really nice benefits. Wal-Mart of goth clothes or not, I really like working for them.
    (Discount doesn't hurt either. ;) )

hehe well. i dont know if theres a meaning or not.... all i know is i didnt want anything TOO colorful now since its my first one, and my mom wouldnt let me get anything bigger than 2 inches. i just thought the cherries looked cool so i got them.
thanks, and my artist is some guy named Dwayne. i went to American Graffiti to get it done.. its such an awesome place, that have tattoos up the @$$!!! i've been to a few tattoo places but i've never seen as many as they have. i went to them cuz thats where my b/f got his.

I've heard of American Graffiti before, their work's been featured in a few tattoo mags I read. Nice pick, most people don't have such good luck with choosing artists for their first piece! :D

grrr, you can sure say that again. thanks to the not so good artist who worked (not for long though) in the good tatt shop i went to, i have a nice, slightly crooked and slightly off center butterfly on my back. i didn't even notice it until i went to a different place to get some stuff added to it and the artist was like, "um, where did you have this done?" i'm still trying to come up with a way to incorporate this thing into a nice design so that it looks like it was done that way on purpose. aargh!
