I would love to see how this group develops. Also, I'm curious about the t-shirts, lol :D

I completely agree... This isn't fauna hahaha

That of course doesn't mean a group like this should't/can't exist. Just as long as the group doesn't turn into a we're right and everybody else is wrong mentality. (not that I expect that at all)

I can see this happening already... Give people a little power and boom. And the whole concept is kinda ehhh... Like ok say a new member starts a thread.. You can't rush over there and say oh you cant listen to everybody else who has already replied because they aren't a member of "cobra" or whatever. I'd say this idea is a fail. Sorry

The fact you can see it happening already shows me that you obviously don't pay attention to a lot of us that are going to be in this group. We don't go rushing saying people are wrong and this and that. The whole thing is that while yes this is an awesome community I myself have seen new members asking questions get bashed, and I mean seriously. When people ask questions that may of been asked before, I've seen people automatically reply: "Go use the search function". To me this is a pet peeve and about the most irritating thing I can read. In that time it took them to type that the question could of been answered, or if they didn't feel like it they didn't even have to respond. The point of the group is to avoid that and to always help, no matter how many times a question has been asked. If a new member everyday joins and asks how often a BP should eat, I'm going to tell them every single time that they should eat once a week, and not once will I say go use the search function. I think it's rude and discouraging to new members and I've even had new members tell me this and thank me for stating it when people say go use the search function.

We're not going to say this person was wrong or that person was wrong, now if that person gives something different then we would do, sure we can say we would do this instead of that. It's not about right and wrong. It's about giving the best possible advice to the people that keep BP's and that don't know any better.

I won't say anything more as I'm being nice, but I think you fail at your post.

That's opinions. Let's not bring up dead horses though here, since clearly you're doing what you do best as of lately.

Oh hey, look what I found, anybody remember these:

So, what then, is the end goal? To have someone answer every newb's question with an actual answer? Is that the bottom line? So none of that vaguely alluded to "schooling" when the inevitable disagreement occurs? Suppose someone disagrees with you to the point that they bash one of your members? Then what? War? You guys against all comers?

I don't know. I can see the why in what you're doing, it's great to want to be helpful, but I don't see the necessity of all the work you're doing in order to be more helpful.

Instead of creating a new group doing what's already being done, why not just join in and keep it going? Drop in, drop out, no muss no fuss, no grandstanding, no broken promises, no disappointments.

But hey, you may be on to something. It'll be interesting to see what the state of affairs are in a couple of months.
