Favorite Kingsnake Species?

Either cal kings or Mexican black kings. Love the black and white on the cal kings and love the solid black on the MBKs.

Cal kings all the way for me. Love their personality and coloring

My top three in order: Brooksi, Speckled, Standard Black and White.

I just picked up my third mexican black kingsnake couple days ago.
Do they normally have yellow specks when they are young? I took in my other two when they were about a year old so I don't know.

Yup, they get a little blacker with every shed.

Thanks John! Did a search on youtube for it and couldn't find any with yellow specks.

Mexican black kings will naturally integrade with the AZ desert kings so you often have individuals with yellow speckling. They will darken up somewhat, but the blackest babies will also make the blackest adults.

I love the speckled kings. We have them here but ive seen only one in the wild in the last 20 years.
I also love the greybanded kings, never seen one ever except online, even at the expos here.
I also love the mexican black kings and the cal.kings.

I really like high red goins king snakes
