    Link to this thread, badass?

    Well of course.

    http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...oo-much-to-ask

Make sure to post in it without actually reading it.

    Like you did here: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...24#post1857824
    As reptiliachnids pointed out.

The best part was that you said you weren't trying to start something, then tried to start something.

Oh, and if you would like me to link your past 4 or so posts where you have done exactly as you did above I would be more than glad to :)

I am most certainly not gone, I've merely been busy with Hadassah (The BP)

It would have been appreciated if you all would have asked me about things before badgering me and saying some of the things you did. When a person's first post on a forum is a request for help and they get an answer like this, it isn't a very good welcome.

'On the way home' was referring to 'On the way out of the show'. I bought Hadassah when I was leaving.

I did not notice the injury until I got her home to put her in her tank, when I confronted Brandon about the issue. Yes, I agree he handled her wrongly.

However, before you all yell at me some more, you should know that I got her into the vets early. Her spine is not broken, nor are any of the bones fractured or out of place. The kink was caused by a pulled muscle, and it was determined that it was not giving her any pain. She is now well (Kink fixed) and ate fine today. She will be able to be bred.

@Kaorte: Thank you for not judging by what you saw, and for taking into consideration how I may be feeling.

That is great news! Did it correct itself or did the vet do something to fix it?

    Thats what I am saying.

Did the vet say what could have caused it?

As soon as I can get to my camera pictures will be uploaded ^^
The vet stated that when Brandon gripped her via her neck, he strained and pinched a muscle. That combined with the stress of moving is said to have caused the issue.

Possible, I guess lol I know nothing on snake muscles but it seems like it could have been a Charley horse typed thing *shrugs*

Do snakes get muscle spasms when they get dehydrated? Like how people do?

I read this whole thread (yes, every post) and the defense of the people on this forum, we get very emotional when we see an animal in distress. It brings out protective instincts in us that, no matter what harsh words or assumptions we make, at the end of the day all we want to see is the animal taken care of to the best of the owner's ability. It's hard to see anyone's pet in pain or in a situation like yours, and I'm glad it all worked out.

To everyone here, shame! You can't assume anything through text. The OP could've been crying their eyes out as they wrote this, desperate for some reassurance that their baby will pull through. You never know what an owner is thinking, but by just posting on here shows that they knew something was wrong and came to what I think is the best resource on the internet (even for non-reptile problems!). We need to live up to that reputation and have a little less pointing fingers and a little more informing and helping. Yes, getting that snake to a vet ASAP is what needed to happen, but look, that's what they did!! Assuming makes an "a$$" out of "u" and "me"!

To OP, I am so glad your baby will be okay! All I would say is to have a talk with your brother and remind him that Ball Pythons (especially babies) are extremely delicate. If he's only had experience with hots he might have a too-rough approach and should tone it down. The instinct to stop a strike if he's a hot handler might be a no-thought reflex, so some caution might need to be exercised when he's around your little ones.
