As far as the "what friend does that". Technically she's suing the woman's homeowners insurance. BG knows a friend of his that's doing the exact same thing right now. They're still friends....great friends.
I found the part that says they are friends, it's right under the picture in the story. If you were to say that the animal is tame then you could say it's the fault of both sides. The owner for saying a potentially dangerous animal is tame and the woman for believing it....

In addition, I never understand when the public gets all surprised when somebody famous dies at the hands of a wild animal (Steve Irwin for example). Personally, I'm never surprised when this happens; if you "F" with a wild animal, 100% of the responsibility lies with the human, not the beast...
...that being said,
Shark attack victims - if you don't like getting bitten in half by sharks, stay out of the water, its a choice.
Bear attack victims - if you don't like getting chased and eaten by bears, stay out of the woods, its a choice.
Snake bite victims - if you don't like being bitten by venomous snakes, stay away from "hots" and get some ball pythons, again, this is a choice only the human can make, the wild animal cannot.
...In short, if you don't want to get royally "F'd", don't "F" with wild animals.

I agree 100% with you on this. She was working for him with wild animals. She knew that this animal was unpredictable. For that matter ANY wild animal is unpredictable.....Not to mention us humans quite frankly!!! I worked in a zoo with the small mammals....and I had to sign a waiver releasing them of responsiblity if something should happen to me. It is a work place danger!!! The person before me lost use of one of her hands after being bit by a spider monkey. It happens!!!! It is the chance you take...and you know it going into this type of thing. As for animals out in the wild attacking....you are on their turf. If I go out my front door...and into the desert (which is like 1 block away) and I find a rattlesnake and get bit...guess what...IT IS THEIR HOME!!! If you come into my home univited in the middle of the night...chances are ....you are going to get shot. Plain and simple protecting yourself.
Just like if your kid crawls over the zoo rail and falls in....it is YOUR FAULT...the rail is there for a purpose. (and I can think of all kinds of names for these ppl but I don't want an infraction)!!!!!!
It never ceases to amaze me that we run out and kill everything that is only using its ability to protect itself or trying to eat. And don't get me started on these ppl that feed wild animals and then freak out when it comes up to your house and attacks you. UGh.....I could go on and on and on in regards to this type of thing. Just makes me...:rage::rage::rage::rage:
