That's funny you should ask that. She used to sit in her warm hide all the time. But literally over the past few days she's gone through a huge growth spurt and outgrown it ha ha. She just chills now. Gonna be buying the XXL size shortly.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e66cd8b9e0.jpg

Re: The Kaiju thread - CB17 female Pearl Burmese Python
Feeding question. Kaiju is 3.93 feet long and 798 grams at 8 months old. I recently moved her up from rat weaners and the shop told me the 5 new rats I bought were size small. I Fed one each week and now have 2 left. But I just weighed them and they're 112 and 100 grams so I think they're actually classed as medium rats.
I usually feed 1 rat every 7 days but she last ate 12 days ago as I was out of town. Is it ok for me to feed her these two rats tonight? The meal as a whole would be 26.57% of her bodyweight.

I dont go by body weight and never have for feeding. If you need to get rid of the Rats go ahead and give her both. If you dont need to get rid of them I would just feed her 1 then wait till the next regular schedule feeding day myself to get back on the right day. She will never notice the difference if she missed a meal 4 days ago or 3 weeks ago as you always feel her well. Sometimes I'll feed then 3 days later feed again if my days were off...

In the end I only gave her one rat. I bought some more today which were sold as medium but I think they're small large by the weight. I think she can take them looking at the size.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9c1e1c7004.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...045fdb6bb9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d5bd73659f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...6b144b0f50.jpg

She also shed today. Growth has really kicked up since the last shed in March as that's when I moved her up from weaners.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...136542b2c9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...3591495b79.jpg

"Track My Reptile" and I got it off the Play store for android. I think it's available for iPhone too. It's free for one reptile but I think you have to pay to add more.

Im sure she handles that size good. Use her largest body girth & your always ok.
