I do both, not so much street anymore since they have too many idiots that ruin it, but mostly on the track. Which I also kind of laid back with going so much, I go 2/3 times a month now unlike 8-9 times before. I have a 1997 Mustang SVT Cobra, which is going to be gone soon and i'm going to be gettina WS6 Trans Am.

:D I wouldnt want to trade the cobra. Thats one of my dream cars. lol.
Trans Ams are nice too. :gj:

Thems words you will wish you could take back. Not that it is a binding contract, but still .. you will be razzed when the Chevrolet's are kicking Honda's A in everything, or that new Dodge sports car is the fastest thing in it's price range. It's fine to not like what they offer now, but never is a strong word.

The new Camaro is being tweaked to go after the Nissan GTR times around the Nürburgring, and if that happens .. if you can get performance that rivals or beats a $70,000 car from $30,000 (with performance upgrades), that would be nothing to scoff at.

That is why I love the camaro. It really is great for the price. And it looks really good. :salute:

My dad wanted to buy a mercedes.... I was like :colbert: Just get a camaro. Half the price and just as good.

How did this thread turn from a "romantic connection" discussion to an argument about which country makes the best muscle cars??? :weirdface Talk about your off-topic drifts....

A lot of threads drift off topic, although this one I would primarily have to blame on me.

Mustangs prior 87-04(the only bodystyles I like) because I think the 05's are ugly, aren't really made for tall people. Myself being 6'0-6'1 and even having the seat back my knees were still by the steering wheel, on a 98-02 Trans am, I can sit more comfortably. As far as cars go, I would never make anything under 8 cylinders fast, primarily because they don't sound good at all, and it takes way too much money to make them do what you can make a v8 do.

    So i'm still available.

pretty much all cars are built flemsey now, and plus its hard to find an American made car in manual now, everything is automatic and i hate that!

It isn't hard at all to find a manual, and studies show that people prefer automatics due to them not having to shift through gears in traffic. Also more american cars are standard then imports. Mustangs for example, a lot of them are standards, ALL of the SVT Cobras are standards, along with the shelbys.

from the way i see it, this thread has stayed on topic. it asked about love on the forum, the love for cars is just as if not stronger, how many can say that have loved the same person from 5-6 thru old age.

I met my wife on a car forum. We personally met at a mutual friends house for a BBQ before a car show, and we have been inseparable since.

She doesn't mind the snakes and she enjoys breeding the rodents. She likes the mice and rats better than the ASFs though.
