BCI Joe has nothing on this "forum troll".

I have another prediction, but I'll keep it to myself for now.

Thanks Chainsaw! ;) I'm glad, the first step is admitting it. Good to see you're on your way to posting something other than just rudeness and brash responses :gj:

Good deals can certainly be had on Craigslist. I recently bought a set of 4 Volvo factory alloy rims on Craigslist with tires mounted on them for $175. It would normally cost $1000 for the rims alone. However many ads on Craigslist are clearly fishy and it is only prudent to be cautious about dealing with anyone on Craigslist for many reasons, scams and physical safety being only 2 of the reasons. The ads for pets seem to have a higher percentage of ads that don't quite look right. Many of the advertisers clearly lack knowledge of the species that they are selling, leading one to suspect that they picked the animal up for free somewhere and are trying to make a quick buck selling it. Buying an animal from such a person could easily bring you the prospect of disease and large vet bills. In my opinion it is better to be safe than sorry. Some of the people in this thread certainly jumped the gun in forming opinions of this ad but I suspect Mr Chainsaw that you had spent quite a bit of time searching for a windmill to tilt at before finding this thread.

I've seen BCI Joe in Daytona before :gj:

can't say that i've done business with him but his animals look nice.

Even though Joe maybe a real person the ad SCREAMS scammer. Otherwise I would not have posted it. Since you are a real person, maybe putting more information like that in your ad will lead to more successful ventures. If I and countless others on here thought so, just think of how many offers you lose because of it.

And a special congrats to D ick Tracey Chainsaw over here, for all his fine detective and alerting work.

LOL. You must have a few self-esteem issues if you feel the need to pat yourself on the back as much as you have over this topic. I hope it worked and you can now sit back in your chair with a smug smirk on your face because you really showed the "clique" in this forum who's really superior around her. :8:

FWIW, I have nothing to feel sorry for regarding my remarks about Joe Capone. Nine out of ten times when such an ad comes along on Craigslist it turns out to be a scam. We constantly get Nigerian scams to buy BP morphs for dirt cheap on the CL in my area, so people were just pointing out an ad that looked very suspicious. I'm glad it turned out to be legitimate and from a good guy, but I would still ridicule a suspicious CL ad if I got the chance. If anything, it would allow potential buyers to question the ad a little further and hopefully they would be a little more aggressive in doing their homework when making a purchase off of such an ad.

But don't let me rain on your parade... continue to show everyone around here how special you are because you were right about a Craigslist ad being legitimate. :gj:

15? Really?? You might have super powers in detecting legitimate CL ads, but it seems your math skills might need a little work.

I would prefer to be called Magnum BCI in the future. Can you please make a note of that?:D:D

The "smirk" is really big right now. I love it when I'm right, which is just about always.

So I guess since this wasn't that "9 out of ten times" there is no need for you to "feel sorry". If you feel that's justification for your obvious slam, then so be it. I wonder how craiglist stays in business with 9 out of ten adds being scams.

It's not my math that bad, it's my memory. I thought it was 15 when in fact it's 12. Now shouldn't you be adding up the value of BCI Joe's snakes to make sure they total up to $250,000.:)

Good lord, I think we've been whisked back to the fifth grade. Great first impression on your part. I don't know why you feel like you have to go on the offensive and be a bully to other members, but I don't see a positive outlook for you here if you continue down this path. Just saying.

Actually, what I said was "Nine out of ten times when such an ad comes along on Craigslist", not "9 out of ten adds" [sic]. The ad was advertising high end expensive morphs without giving specific prices and without naming the seller. Such ads on CL are usually scams.

It seems like your comprehension skills are on par with your math skills. Hopefully you can find a job with your CL legitimate ad predicting skills. :)
