Re: immaculate birth (Parthenogenesis)
still waiting on more pics wanna see the happy family together. lol.
I cant get enough of baby snakes. I cant wait to have some little ones slithering around here. <----sounds kinda funny)
Re: immaculate birth (Parthenogenesis)
sorry for the long interval but I have been really busy with work.
update- the babies just had their first shed, and look great, i think the reason the second baby looked dry was because it stayed in the egg for 3 days and some of the egg goop dried on its skin, (both eggs were very plump prior to hatch). Anyway, I will probably post some pics tonight when I get home.
To the other Knoxvillian, if you have any questions on incubation set up, let me know I could walk you through building one.

Awesome! Im glad all is going well.
Re: immaculate birth (Parthenogenesis)
Hello...
I'm the one who had the parthenogenesis happen last year...I must say WOW!! This seems to be happening more and more!! I do believe there was also another person last year who had it happen, also. Unfortunatley, I let mom sit on them with a sad outcome...dead babies. So, to Columb1ne, I would highly suggest incubating them, I did everything and spent more money than I would have making an incubator trying to keep everything just right. So, I'm hoping that it happens again!! I am ready this time! Since she had her eggs in June last year, who knows it may happen this year & could be why she is so restless.
And Zombie...congrats!! They are absolutely beautiful miracles!! Exciting huh??
I am so amazed that this is becoming more common! A sign of the end times perhaps? Just a thought.
Re: immaculate birth (Parthenogenesis)
I am really psyched! the babies ate for the first time today and took the pinkies within minutes of them being offered!!!
Now, how often do I offer them the pinkies and when can I move up to some fuzzies?

Re: immaculate birth (Parthenogenesis)
Is it just me or do these hatchlings have a unique pattern?
Re: immaculate birth (Parthenogenesis)
I don't know too much about the different morphs of the balls, but one is yellow color while one is a more brown/green, and i do think the pattern is strange, any ideas?
