Re: Red Tail almost Seizuring
Man I'm sorry this is so bad for you. Is there any way she could have swallowed some bedding or something? A blockage is another possibility. I hope and pray it works out for you and her.
Re: Red Tail almost Seizuring
Pat , have you tried contacting your local MSPCA hospital ?
I'm not sure if you have one but here in boston they have a 24 hour emergency room and they treat all kinds of animals .It sure worth a try contacting them at least you can talk to a vet there, also contact your local zoo, and ask their vet , he may be willing to help when you explain the situation and offer a donation.

Was it just for the prolapse? Did they find out what's been wrong with her?
Re: Red Tail almost Seizuring
he seems to think thats what was causing the shaking, becuase he said that it was twisted so it was causing discomfort. hopefully, she will pull through.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that she heals rapidly and completely.
