    I do appreciate the interest in this case. Mice were live then killed from a local pet store so who knows. If anyone can find any weaknesses in my setup I would love to know what they think, before i get another Ball. I do thank everyone though for their input and appologize that i couldn't post the info you were looking for sooner.

    Its really quite a mystery. The only explanation that I can think of is that your poor little guy was already sick and just not showing it.

    I wonder if BP's having something like Sudden Infant Death Syndrome? We had a kitten that seemed totally healthy die in its sleep just this year. That was at the time of the Chinese pet food poisoning so we guessed that was it. But I've seen that sort of thing before.

    Perhaps it was just a freak accident or a stealthy disease.

    Just one off the wall thing: does anybody else live with you that had access to him? I hate to sound like a corny detective but I would hate for you to think it was somehow your fault when it wasn't. Could it have been an accident that somebody just can't bear to tell you about?
