Well to reduce stress you might cover his tank with a dark towel and turn the lights out. Or try the newspaper trick like I said to help with stress.

hey guys, first off i wanna thank everyone for giving me some really helpful tips.

secondly i have a question. When i do attempt to feed my snake again, should i wait for him to be out of his hides? if hes not awake don't attempt a feed? after the first 20 mins of trying should i stop?

lastly. The snake seems to be thermoregulating. The Bp seems to be better in there then that stupid vivarium. My snakes still young. its been a long time since its eaten. i hope it eats this weekend.

    thanks again people

I would recommend you to wait until he settles in his new environment completely, at least 7 to 10 days.

When you feed no need to remove the hides, if you have a good feeding routine your BP will know it is feeding day.

One thing that help whether you feed live or F/T is to have the prey close to the enclosure prior to feeding so it entice your BP to eat.

If you feed live, offer a prey and after 20 minutes the prey is still there, just try gain a week from that day.

If you offer to soon and don't give him the time to settle it will not help, it will only lead to a refusal.
