    Yup thats probably the post, which is wierd because that statement is a little ambiguous and can be read two ways - which almost certainly didn't help. Let me see if I can explain;

i have reaad your fauna feedback joepythons (http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/for...ead.php?t=92409) and if you were selling a reptile i would still ask about weight.
    which could mean..

    1) I read it , didn't believe it,consider you a good guy but ALWAYS ask for the weight confirmed.

    or

    2) I read it, took it on board, but ALWAYS ask for weight to be confirmed.

I'm guessing here ( and please don't hesitate to tell me if I'm wrong) that Joe read it and felt number one was the true meaning.
Only thing I could be certain of is that the dude likes to get the weight confirmed.

This doesn't really move the thread on any I was just mentioning it as an example of unclear meanings without sufficient context.

Err... move along, no linguistic geeks to see here.

I was going to suggest making the name of the rep giver a compulsory status but the mod's can see it as it stands and choosing not to put their name on it speaks volumes about their confidence that they are doing the right thing anyway. :2cent:

Dang I post waaay too slow on this forum - I blame it on the mental strain of removing all the inane drivel from my flow of conciousness.Well not all of it obviously.

Whoa the fun that has been going on today. I was the one who left you the loser comment in your neg. feedback. I just put that and didn't feel that I needed to leave a story to tell you why. I put it because when you mentioned the fauna thread about Joe and the way you put it, you made it look like Joe was a bad person. He is an honest member here and will have a ton of positive feedback from others. If you go and see why that fauna thread was started, it was because Joe was trying to help out 2 fellow members and criticized whoever it was that sold the snakes.

I think a lot of us need to stop feeding into some of the junk some like to stir up.

It was clearly stated several times if you feel you got a bad rep point then there are avenues in which to inquire and settle. There are rules and regulations on which this site operates and if you don't like them or disagree with them then you can go thru the proper channels to inquire/complain about them or you can choose not to be a part of it. But this incessent bickering, and accusing and such is not the correct way to handle it.

There are many different personality, cultures and moods on here at any given time and we have to try to respect and get along w/ them all, which 99% of the time is done wonderfully. Other 1% of the time some just need to be the bigger person and let it go. It's kinda like a child acting up for attention, if you just ignore them they will quickly stop.

I am not speaking of anyone person or any specific thread etc just a general statement.
This is a wonderful, helpful site with a great membership and I am sure we all will do our best to maintain it as such.

    Happy New Year !!!!

actually that link was in his defence. it wouldnt matter if it was bob clark, greg graziani, ed clark or joepythons i would always question weight. i am sorry joe for accusing you . i bought a 1500 gram female and never questioned anything and guess what happened? i got a baby male worth no more than 50$ i will buy from anyone including joe but wil always ask some kind of question. :)

Isn't it about time to act like grownups and stop whining so we can keep this forum constructive?

Not aiming at anyone in particular but if you take it personally and want to add a “negative rep” for this just go ahead, I can take it :neener: !

Dr Del,if you read a few more posts down in that thread i stated that since i was UNSURE of what he was saying if he would pm me and explain it.I agree you have the rights to ask for verifacation on the exact weight on a snake you might be interested in.That particular snake was pickup only and that person lives several states away from the sellar.I just questioned on how he could verify the correct weight by looking at a pic on the internet:confused: :P .
