I agree with Robin I wouldn't buy one of those clown's. The example she set was right on.

I don't know any of the history of this guy NOR did I watch the video NOR did I read the BOI....

    But I have to observations/questions...

    1) if this guy is all about the money, why is he dumping snakes on the cheap? wouldn't he benefit from keeping prices high? Thus making more money?

    2) Everyone says that they would pay more money for a quality snake. I have no doubt that individuals here would spend more for quality. But the general population has disproved this theory on a mass scale. Wal-mart has put alot of small retailers out of business for low prices. Society would prefer low low prices instead of customer service, knowledgeable staff or quality goods. Wouldn't this apply to the NOOB when they are shopping for snakes?

Anyway...just some observations from someone with NO understanding of the history on this topic.:lurk:

It all began with MKR dumping 50 mojaves and 50 lessers on the market at extremely reduced prices a week before Daytona.
They have a problem with some of the bigger breeders and are trying to hurt them in the wallet.
The whole giving back to the customer is a smokescreen.
They want nothing more than to get back at a few select breeders by mass producing and undercutting in price.
There is a lot of behind the scenes things that involve Bob Clark, Mike Wilbanks, Ralph Davis, MKR, prices and the fire project.
It all just happened to spill out publicly.
MKR cannot even advertise on KS anymore because they burned so many bridges over the past few months.

I have no problem with prices coming down. That is to be expected but the way MKR went about it and the fact they they threaten to ruin others in the future by dumping more animals just makes me not want to have any dealings with them no matter how cheap they are.

MKR is nothing more than a snake mill churning out as many offspring as they possible can hoping to cause damage to specific breeders in the process as well as make as much as they can by undercutting everyone.

Supposedly they have a huge lucy project in the works that will be dumped next year to get back at 2 certain individuals. If this is true, expect to see many lucys for sale at a fraction of the price they are today.

wow!, i just watched the vid. it didn't leave me with a good impression. very poor quality vid, not well rehearsed or professional imo. for a company that claims to make so money from sales, they could have produced a better video! telling you in one sentence "they are for the people" and telling you later "i will under cut you" just doesn't make me want to send my hard earned money to them. it is true that walmart sells alot of "product". how many people have had a bad expierence or poor customer service at a walmart? hmm

support breeders who support you and your goals:D
